Details

After the success of the Excalibur range by IFL, there was a large demand for a more affordable rod for anglers who wanted to begin ISO fishing. As a result, the IFL Basic rod range was created. The IFL Basic rod range is the perfect introductory rod as it is sturdier and less prone to breaking than higher-grade carbon ISO rods.

Type I

The Type I is a lighter model that is suited, but not limited to species such as bream, silver trevally, luderick and whiting. The Type 1 is ideal for ISO anglers interested in targeting a variety of species from the light to medium light range including drummer, surgeonfish and salmon. A sensitive carbon tip delivers accurate responses from bites, swell motions and contact made with the line straight to the angler.

Type II

The Type II is a stronger model suited to anglers interested in targeting drummer, snapper, salmon, kingfish and groper. The IFL Basic Type II retains a sensitive tip to feel the softest of bites. With extra power to stop larger fish, the Type II is the weapon of choice for hardcore ISO anglers. The Fuji screw type reel seat ensures a more secure hold.
